The Region Extremadura in Spain is among other famous thing is known because their effort to spread free software in schools, local government and small and medium enterprises. Linux Center is going to visit region Extremadura with aim to study their model and its applicability in Serbia and Montenegro. We will visit Extremadura with special feelings of friendship and solidarity and hope for long-term cooperation in the development of our societies. First Monday is peer-review electronic magazine that address very important issues related to information technologies and society. In May they celebrated 10 years of their work. Congratulations! We are happy that they invited us to particpate at their conference held in Chicago May 15 - 19, 2006 and we presented our paper.
